Model Paint Storage Shelf Vallejo, GW, Mig, Testors, Model Master

Hey everyone, I have been working diligently on a solution for paint storage since viewing Awesomepaintjob's youtube video. I myself have more paints than anyone I know, and my own stash was getting out of control. I have come up with a solution that will fit every paint I can think of EXCEPT Tamiya, which I will later design another shelf to accommodate this paint. I have thrown in some pics of the completed units and different methods of stacking that can be utilized with the shelving.
Constructed entirely of acrylic, these shelves can hold a TON (60 per shelf if stacked as seen below) of paint depending on which method you use, and have an acrylic back sturdy enough to hang on a wall. I am trying to gauge an interest level here to see I anyone out there in the modeling community could benefit from this type of paint storage, because to be honest, I need to have a lot of interest to keep my costs down.
If you are interested, please tell your friends and drop a comment in the box below so I can determine how many of the to begin mass producing.

  3. Loving these! I could even benefit from them in my craft room even if I use a different type of paint, I'm thinking they would still fit! Very nice!

  4. Hello,

I just found the site and must say the paint storage looks pretty cool. I do have a question about some the paint products you have the picture as I am always expanding my tool box, what effects do the liquitex lava and sand produce? Thanks in advance.

  6. These are great. I was thinking of making something for paint storage that involved wood, and a lot of drilling. I'll have to ask the family's CFO if there's room in the budget to order one of yours instead.
